30 years of painting
I didn't follow the trends of the moment and I didn't seek approval. I wanted to find my own style. An understandable language that told of emotions, moments of life lived, beauty and freedom.
My story
Sonia Zaffoni was born in Rovereto on 03.18.1974. She began painting at the age of sixteen, teaching herself. Over the years she refined her technique, thanks also to her encounter with the master Debiasi , a student of Emilio Vedova.
After opening his first local exhibition in 1998 , he began his career with a series of solo exhibitions at local and national level (Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, Lazio) and numerous group exhibitions, in addition to his participation in ten or so awards, including the 2015 edition of "Arte & immagine" in Trento in the context of the Feste Vigiliane, where he received the first prize, thanks to the work "la stazione di Trento".
The artist works mainly with acrylic on board , exploring mostly natural subjects, but without giving up some incursions into the human figure and sometimes animals. Numerous articles in newspapers, magazines and publications in contemporary art books, testify to his artistic path.
